Abhimanyu, son of Arjuna and Subhadra, was celebrated for his youthful valor, charm, and mastery of battle formations. Trained by his father and Krishna, he possessed prodigious skill despite his young age. In the Kurukshetra War, Abhimanyu’s most heroic moment came on the thirteenth day, when he entered the Chakravyuha formation, fully aware he could not escape. Fighting fearlessly, he held off seasoned warriors like Drona, Karna, and Duryodhana, before being brutally slain. His sacrifice became a symbol of youthful bravery, inspiring the Pandavas to redouble their efforts. Abhimanyu’s legacy lives as one of courage, loyalty, and sacrifice, a tragic hero cut down at his prime.
