Chitrangada

Chitrangada, the princess of Manipur, was one of Arjuna’s wives. Unlike Draupadi or Subhadra, she lived a secluded life, raising her son Babruvahana. A warrior princess herself, she married Arjuna during his exile, with the condition that her son would inherit Manipur’s throne. Though she did not play a direct role in the Kurukshetra War, her lineage extended Arjuna’s legacy. Chitrangada symbolizes quiet strength, motherhood, and the blending of dynasties into the Pandava legacy.
