Dushasana

Dushasana, the younger brother of Duryodhana, is remembered chiefly for his vile role in Draupadi’s disrobing during the infamous dice game. Fiercely loyal to his elder brother, he served as his right hand throughout the conflict. On the battlefield, he fought bravely but remained overshadowed by his brothers and elders. His fate was sealed by Draupadi’s vow and Bhima’s oath: Bhima swore to tear open Dushasana’s chest and drink his blood for his crimes. On the 16th day of the war, Bhima fulfilled this terrifying vow, slaying Dushasana brutally. Dushasana’s legacy remains that of arrogance, cruelty, and an inevitable downfall driven by adharma.
