Satyaki

Satyaki, also called Yuyudhana, was a Yadava warrior, devoted disciple of Arjuna, and ally of the Pandavas. Renowned for valor, he upheld dharma throughout the war, fighting against the Kauravas while his clansman Krutavarma sided with them. Satyaki’s fierce enmity with Bhurishrava culminated in his controversial slaying of him after Arjuna disabled the elder warrior. Fierce, loyal, and impetuous, he was among the few who survived the war. However, his later life ended tragically during the Mausala Parva, when drunken quarrels among the Yadavas led to a massacre. Satyaki was killed in this fratricidal strife, reflecting the inexorable destruction even among the victors.
